Join us this fall as we celebrate the growing seasons through a series of relaxed creative gatherings.
Our team is piecing together an oversized, eco-printed and dyed patchwork 'duvet' to help set the stage for our upcoming performance events. Explore various techniques for botanical printing alongside plant gathering, cordage-making, environmental sound art, and short excerpts from the Listening in Relation, Reading & Gathering group. You can add a printed patch or two to our creation, or take your 'makes' home to use in your own projects. We’ll provide materials and skills-sharing as well as links to our additional programming, including live performance events, sound walks and a themed reading group. No experience necessary. Open to all ages.
The Only Animal’s Slow Social Club offers soft tactics to remember and repair our relationships to place through slow, process-led artmaking. Each edition responds to local themes, materials and collaborators, and becomes a co-creation between The Only Animal and its communities. You can experience our growing textile installation at Slow Social events throughout the province.
