Slow Socials
A new way to gather: public handcrafting and eclectic live performance, hosted within an immersive textile environment.
Slow Socials are a temporary “slow zone” where we can ease the overwhelm that keeps us stuck in the climate crisis. As you listen and watch, we teach you how to create simple textile pieces from fibres you can find close to home. Each Slow Social is improvised and co-created with the public, our team adapting the format in response to what happens live in the room. We tend to possibility as it emerges between us.
