dinghy in dumpster

Welcome to my site.

I had big plans for rehearsal the other day.  Under the wharf.

I went all the way out to Surrey on the skytrain - King George Station - to get my $15 dinghy.  I believed it was going to be grey, but when I got there it was bright orange!  Bummer, I'd gone all that way...maybe I could cover it in duct tape?

Well, I didn't tape it up.

“The site is a place where a piece should be but isn’t.” Robert Smithson, Artist

Fringe Onsite is a brand new project in collaboration with The Only Animal that is helping 13 Fringe artists create and develop their own site-specific work for the Fringe. Over the course of six months, the artists in the Onsite program work intensively with the Only Animal’s Producing Artistic Director, Kendra Fanconi, to embrace every nook and cranny of Granville Island and bring the space to life for the Fringe in September.

The title Wagabondi from 2009's site specific show, Wagabondi Ho, produced by UpInTheAir Theatre.
